Position Description

We have a great opportunity for an Account Manager who is passionate about a career path in client management and business development. All applicants must be self-starters, profit and growth-oriented individuals who always keep the client's needs top of mind.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding client relationships and selling Blulink’s services to major enterprise-level clients and prospects. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to grow business through client retention and expansion by providing necessary relationship management and combined business and technical leadership. You will be required to identify key decision makers, understand client/prospect needs and envision tailored solutions to meet those needs.

The position will require

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the engagement life cycle and beyond
  • Attend events that have a high degree of association with clients and prospects
  • Manage the overall business development process from pre- to post-sales
  • Manage existing accounts while affording time and focus to expand into new accounts
  • Develop relationships with decision makers and others associated with the buying process
  • Maintain an opportunity pipeline using the Microsoft CRM system for forecasting and opportunity management.
  • Analyze customer requirements and propose solutions and/or consulting services that best solve the business pain/opportunity.
  • Monitor performance including project closeout stage to ensure that client satisfaction remains high and up-selling opportunities are captured.
  • Work hand-in-hand with fellow consultants and delivery team members to establish competitive proposals, prepare detailed statements of work, and ensure project plans are on target.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in custom software sales in a B2B environment to major corporations with focus on the Microsoft stack. Experience selling to Microsoft within the last 3 years is desirable. 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Known for exhibiting client and end-user empathy, always keeping their needs top of mind
  • A “hunter” mentality and passionate about winning deals
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated experience managing sales pipeline process
  • Demonstrated experience meeting sales and delivered revenue quotas
  • Proven Track record of holding self-accountable of personal sales goals (Monthly, Quarterly & Annually)
  • Work with Delivery Team on ensuring high customer satisfaction levels
  • Drive client events with presentations and end-to-end relationship management
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Establishing and executing account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
