The Business Development Manager role is a 3 Month Contract to Hire
Duties and Responsibilities include:

> driving sales initiatives from start to finish, including prospecting, qualifying, and selling in the enterprise field
> developing lead lists, synthesizing data into information across various platforms
> evaluating lead lists and transforming them into prioritized action steps for sales team members
> generating leads by creating, formulating, sorting, reorganizing, or optimizing lead lists
> qualifying potential clients (prospects) and prioritizing them according to various criteria
> cold calling potential clients to open doors and establish Sales
> cold e-mailing potential clients to open doors and establish Sales
> generating appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting, event networking and lead management
> researching and hunting down potential leads on the internet and via referral
> identifying prospective buyers and decision-makers within target organizations
> accurately tracking productivity against metrics or quotas
> formulating overall sales strategy
> architecting and leading meetings and networking events
The preferred candidate will:
understand how to

> align with client/prospect needs
> sell value rather than features
> find their way around sales barriers and create a perspective of winning from various circumstances
> hunt new business
> build robust pipelines of potential customers and extrapolate information to maximize lead conversion
> maintain relationships, including following up and reaching out
have a background in and experience in
> achieving competitive sales goals according to a quota
> carrying a quota for extended periods of time in the enterprise sales realm
> selling value to decision-makers at the enterprise level
> selling a product or service in a matrixed environment
