Position Description

We are seeking to add a Senior Process Designer to our growing team. 

If you have a passion for big-picture thinking and the human side of processes, and you are energized by the challenge of helping enterprise organizations transition their processes to embrace digital architecture, this is the position you’re looking for.

The BluLink Process Architecture team helps our clients analyze and articulate clearly the problems that cause poor process performance or inadequate process output in their organization. Process Architecture, in collaboration with our BI, UX, and Platforms & Technology teams, crafts solutions to address those issues. 

The Process Architecture team comprises big-picture thinkers spanning the disciplines of process analysis, design, and architecture. We leverage our experience, business literacy, critical thinking skills, and pragmatic “Can Do” mindset to deliver flexible, scalable, and increasingly reusable solutions for our customers.

We work from two premises: first, that any organization is part of a system that converts inputs from its environment into outputs that are then consumed by the environment; second, that organizations are also social enterprises of people performing processes to achieve that conversion. How the ecosystem of processes is structured is one part of the picture. How people experience the processes they perform, how they interact with others performing other processes, and how they experience the social enterprise itself, are the cornerstones to our approach to creating smoothly running organizations.

As a Senior Process Designer, you will design business processes that create engaging experiences, and that drive organizations to deliver their results more efficiently. Working with a broad group of stakeholders, you ensure business processes are redefined and designed to be optimal, efficient, and ultimately suited to the people who are performing them.  


  • Interact directly with our clients to understand their underlying problem
  • Discover the role of process in contributing to that problem through extensive interviews with stakeholders as well as your own research
  • Create and deliver customer journeys of how the process experience should appear to its participants based on your discussions with a broad set of key stakeholders, as well as with UX colleagues
  • Create and deliver blueprints of the end-to-end process ecosystem that underlie the customer journey
  • Define plan-do-check-adjust cycles to assess the success of process enhancement, identify issues and bottlenecks, measure process metrics, and ensure the proposed changes deliver as promised
  • Mentor and train more junior process designers

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate has:

  • A curious mind, an explorative nature, and a holistic, big-picture mentality
  • Ability to think through complex problems from a multiplicity of angles
  • Strong problem solving skills, building trust with key clients, strong communication skills, and managing key priorities to ensure future state processes are designed well and can be successfully implemented
  • 6+ years in process analysis, process design, and process improvement
  • Background in working in large organizations’ PMOs, process improvement groups or business process program teams
  • Strong understanding of technological approaches to implementing processes
  • Strong understanding of technological approaches to observe and correct processes – Six Sigma or Lean training, or equivalent experience, is desirable.
  • Background in Anthropology, Psychology, or other Liberal Arts or Behavioral Sciences domain strongly preferred; advanced degree is a plus
